Life Member Status

Members upon attaining 65 years of age and 40 years continuous membership in good standing with ICANS or 70 years of age are eligible to receive a full waiver from annual membership fees.

The Life Member category is an automatic full waiver without a required application form. According to the information on our database, ICANS notifies those members who become eligible for the Life Member category at the time of the annual fee billing process.

In the initial year of qualification, the requirements must be met before August 31st.  The responsibility for advising the Institute of eligibility (i.e. DOB) rests with the member, and the Institute regrets that it is unable to refund any dues already paid.
