The ICANS' Council is responsible for establishing the mission, vision, strategic direction, goals and priorities of the Institute, fulfilling the statutory and regulatory responsibilities which are assigned to Council through the Act and By-laws. Council provides leadership to the Institute, expressed through a framework of formal policies which reflect the values and perspectives of the entire membership. Council is comprised of not less than eight members of the CA profession and not more than two public representatives.
